Always B Tango ‘Tango’

2020 - bay/Brown Mare - 15.2hh
Tango has been in training through the Stable to Stirrup program for retraining and rehoming off the track standardbreds as ridden horses. Tango has been under saddle and in training since December 2024.
Walk, trot and canter achieved under saddle. Tango still paces from time to time particularly when transitioning. Tango has done flatwork in the arena, gone out on road rides and paddock rides with company and alone, and has seen a range of traffic. She has been out to Cust Equestrian and to the forest with a new rider and new horses and handled it like she had done it before.
Tango doesn't particularly enjoy arena work and finds circles difficult due to being unbalanced. She will sometimes respond by throwing in a buck. For this reason, Tango is best suited to a quiet hacking or trekking home with an experienced and confident rider. Tango could also make a nice broodmare as she has a lovely temperament and nice conformation.
Tango has a sweet, kind nature and enjoys attention. Easy to have around, good to catch and handle, good to float, worm and for the farrier and dentist.
While Tango is great to handle on the ground, she is young and green under saddle and will require and experienced rider who is able to continue her education and is not afraid to push her forward.
Dental, farrier, and worming all up to date. Has also had a few bodywork sessions.
Currently $600 or near offer to approved home only.
